sounds familiar na?.... wolves.. if u have ever heard of the word rock.. then u cannot miss these lines.... there is something about rock music with which the teen psyche can really relate to.. i spent an entire afternoon thinking..(considerin tht we have exams on tuesday tht really is lunacy..yes the lone wolf is crazy)
and it struck me... rock music deals mainly with themes like
1. love
2. pain
3. melancholy
4. nostalgia
5. anger
6. loneliness
6. whatever / screw the world attitude....
these are things tht we teen wolves go through every single day... and tht's why rock works.... or to put it in a better way.. tht's why rock roxxxx
personally i like CREED's lyrics the best... cos they have this spiritual touch to them.. they exonerate the presence of god ...
for eg:- i cried out.. heaven save me..
but i am down to one last breath
and with it let me say..

i get goosebumps when i listen to this song.. it gets me motivated... and makes me feel ready for anything..
all of us have our personal forms of motivation.. for some its music.. for others its dance.. for others it could be the company of the people you love... but we need our muses.... and the lone wolf feels that every wolf should have something to be productive in life..
something which can act as a switch to engage you into battle mode.. or action mode.... you always need a catalyst to start the reaction..
and rock music definitely works.. i strongly recommend.... and nobody ignores the lone wolf's recommendation... at least not on full moon nights....

so till then.... keep listening to your inner voice.. .. the wolf really hopes it sounds like rock'n roll...heh heh... but then.. not everyone are lucky..

Cola wars..

the wolf was on his way back from college in the hot sweltering summer heat... he felt thirsty.. he stops at this eatery and asks for a carbonated drink.... like always in life... a choice has to be made there too it seems... coke.. or pepsi...
these two are perhaps the best example of an oligopolistic market (where there are only few major players...) brands.... by the way fellow wolves... have u wondered how these concoctions got their names??
coca cola derives its name from coka leaves and kola nuts which were the integral ingredients in the original formula.. pepsi on the other hand was marketed in 1898 as the miraculous cure to dyspepsia.. a stomach disorder... funny huh?

pepsi and coke have been at loggerheads since 1898... the best and most well known cola war happened in 1982 when pepsi brought forward the infamous blind taste test... in which a person was blindfolded and given both the colas to taste... pepsi always emerged the winner cos its was just sweeter... pepsi seemed to have a winner in the ad campaign...

coke was not to be beaten so fast.. after all america was all about coke... coke got back at pepsi and defeated them at their own game... i know wolves you must be wondering how...here's wht happened...
coke conducted a blind taste test, however they insisted that the tester drink the whole bottle and make a verdict... this time the sweetness of pepsi worked against its favour.... the mellow taste of coke made it the winner...

this just proves one thing... always use ur weaknesses as your strengths... when life presents you with confusing and complex situations.. always look on the bright side and what you gain from those experiences... make the best of the worst situations in ur life... like the coke marketing geniuses did...

the wolf thinks its a cool word.... and a very cool concept specially if you are studying engineering.... and are in the habit of 'writing' assignments.....
let's come to a broader aspect... the wolf liked kavya.. she was the archetypical jill of all trades... great grades.. harvard... an outta the world publishing deal according to which she was to be paid ad nauseum!!.. and hey.. she's kinda cute too... the wolf is not the patriotic type.. but he felt good inside...
And then it had to happen... all hell broke loose when Harvard's Crimson reported that passages in the book have a striking similarity with passages found in two books by author Megan F. McCafferty, Sloppy Firsts and Second Helpings... (in case u are wondering.. the crimson is harvard's in house magazine..).. The picture perfect house of cards had started to tumble

fellow wolves... have you noticed.. whenever something seems to good to be true... you better pinch yourself hard.. cos life ain't perfect.. there is no perfect career.. no perfect family... no perfect life.... in kavya's case... people may have wondered wht could possibly go wrong.. i mean the girl was going places... the media was panegyric to the point of nausea with her...
and today the same media.. the very same people who were so full of effusive praise for her.. despise her and call her a fraud....

the lone wolf is of the strong opinion that we should always be prepared to face the worst... even when the best is happening to us... because life is unpredictable... and when you fall... there will be more hands clapping than to pull you up...
you must be thinking that lone wolf is very negative.... he isn't... he just learnt it the hard way....

but now.. he is ready.. for the final kill.. the prize catch... he waits... getting himself ready.. for this for him is a matter of survival.. life and death...
if he falls... the pack won't mourn... maybe yes... he may get a eulogy from the pack... but he does not need sympathy... he does not need an encomium........ the moment of truth has arrived....
the pack may have sounded its battle cry... but one a cold starry night under the luminiscence of the full moon.... he will have the last howl.....
